In support of the Re-Entry Partnership (REP) initiative, designed to address ex-offenders’ transition from prison back into the community. One of eight national pilot projects, REP is developing resources needed to manage program services that meet the ex-offenders’ special needs. Part of the initiative includes the design and installation of a management information system to provide a process and outcomes evaluation.

Two-year funding for the continuation of the Re-Entry Partnership (REP) initiative, expanding the program into the Park Heights Avenue area REP incorporates both a pre-release and post-release component to work with offenders on work readiness, life skills and social needs. In order to ensure the ex-offender a smooth transition back into the community, REP makes available an array of support services, including transportation at time of release.

For the expansion of the Re-entry Partnership (REP) Initiative, a program designed to help prepare inmates for transition from prison back into their communities. The program incorporates pre-release and post-release components. As part of the case management re-entry plan, ex-offenders participate in vocational and educational programs prior to being transferred to the Metropolitan Transition Center. Support services include transportation of the ex-offender, so that upon release the individual is linked directly with community resources.

In support of Baltimore’s Success by 6 Partnership, created to provide early literacy activities in family child care and home visiting programs. The programs offer parents and day care providers with tools to build children’s language skills.
