In support of general operations for the Truancy Court Program (TCP) at the University of Baltimore School of Law. TCP addresses the high level of truancy in Baltimore City public schools through a voluntary 10-week, in-school intervention program for students who are beginning to demonstrate a pattern of truancy.
In support of general operations for Baltimore Youth Arts (BYA), a creative entrepreneurship and job readiness program that provides opportunities to 50 young people, ages 14-21, annually. BYA focuses on youth who have contact with the juvenile justice system.
In support of two years of general operating funds for Cornerstone Community Housing, a supportive housing program for men experiencing homelessness and substance use disorders. Residents receive wraparound services and may stay for up to two years.
In support of operations for Baltimore Witness, a court watch program providing transparency and accountability to Baltimore’s criminal justice system through data collection and reporting. Baltimore Witness relies on reporters covering every hearing of homicide and non-fatal shooting cases heard at the Baltimore City Circuit Court.
In support of general operations for Dee’s Place, an addiction recovery support program serving 5,000 individuals monthly through peer counseling, NA/AA meetings, auricular acupuncture, and connection to treatment programs and other support services.
