Museum of Ceramic Art

For support of the 2012-2013 ceramic art programs in 44 Baltimore City middle schools. Now in its 19th year, the program is a free in-school and after-school arts program that encourages school attendance and aims to improve academic achievement.

Single Carrot Theatre

Toward support of outreach programs designed to bring theatrical experiences to the Station North Arts & Entertainment District. Viewing theater as a teaching tool, Single Carrot partners with schools and colleges, human service organizations, and libraries and museums, and offers pre- and post-performance discussions that engage audiences in dialogue.

Young Victorian Theatre Company

Toward the implementation of a marketing plan to build an audience for its annual summer production of a Gilbert & Sullivan light opera.

Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts

In support of the 2011 Baltimore Book Festival, a three-day literary regional event. The 16th annual free festival, which attracts more than 200 local, regional, and national authors, offers to its more than 55,000 festival attendees the opportunity to participate in author readings, panel discussions, literary workshops, children’s activities, and the creation of original work.

Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts

Toward support of Free Fall, an initiative designed to provide 30 low-budget arts and cultural organizations with the opportunity to offer free events. The initiative is intended to attract audiences from diverse communities and increase accessibility to the arts.
