Blue Water Baltimore

To cover costs associated with the monitoring of water quality samples taken over a nine-week period from the Solarbee aerator/circulator project. The monitoring program is designed to measure changes in biological matter evidenced by algae bloom. This information allows for a better understanding of water quality issues and restoration needs of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

Toward funding of inclusionary zoning for the Baltimore Region Campaign. BRIDGE, a faith-based organization uniting congregations across the Baltimore metropolitan area, provides education and advocacy in support of inclusionary zoning legislation in the Baltimore region. The program’s mission is to help abate the affordable housing crisis in the region.

Canton Community Association

$5,000 / 2007 / Community Development
For the development of a Master Plan for the Canton Dog Park, designed to serve as a model for a citywide network of dog parks.

Carroll Museums, Inc.ᅠ

$5,000 / 2010 / Community Development
Toward expenses related to securing the inner stairwell of the Phoenix Shot Tower, a national tourist destination in Jonestown. Once the repairs are completed, the Tower’s upper regions and roof will be accessible to the public.
