In support of Project JumpStart, a 13-week pre-apprenticeship construction training program for low-income Baltimore City residents.
In support of Conscious Heads’ Barbering Boot Camp, providing 35 Baltimoreans ages 16 to 24 years old with training in barbering. The program will also support 15 young adults as apprentices and will provide free haircuts to hundreds of Baltimore residents.
In support of Turnaround Tuesday, helping 350 Baltimore residents to secure jobs. The program focuses on finding and creating quality jobs that pay over $16 per hour, offer medical and vacation benefits, and provide a career pathway.
In support of providing 64 Baltimore City residents with criminal backgrounds with training in automotive repair and placing graduates into jobs as certified automotive mechanics, earning at least $19 per hour.
In support of the CASH Campaign of Maryland to operate at least eight free tax preparation sites, providing 8,500 low-income individuals and families living in Baltimore with access to the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and asset building services.
