Charles Castelly provides research and analytical support to the Foundation’s Director of Impact Investing.

Charles joined the Abell Foundation as a Venture Fellow through the University System of Maryland Venture Fellowship program. Prior to joining Abell, he was a financial analyst at the US International Development Finance Corporation. He is also a US Army veteran serving as a Military Police Officer. Charles graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a bachelor’s degree in leadership and management studies. Charles completed his MBA at the University of Maryland, College Park. He enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
