Charles Castelly provides research and analytical support to the Foundation’s Director of Impact Investing.

Charles joined the Abell Foundation as a Venture Fellow through the University System of Maryland Venture Fellowship program. Prior to joining Abell, he was a financial analyst at the US International Development Finance Corporation. He is also a US Army veteran serving as a Military Police Officer. Charles graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a bachelor’s degree in leadership and management studies. Charles is currently completing his MBA at the University of Maryland, College Park. He enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
