From Prison Cells to PhD Inc.
In support of general operations for the Prison to Professional program (P2P), which helps people with criminal convictions obtain employment and/or postsecondary education. P2P will provide 80 returning citizens with workforce development training, career readiness skills, college application/readiness assistance, and mentoring.
The Justice Policy Institute
In support of general operations for the Justice Policy Institute (JPI), which works to advance criminal justice reform in the State of Maryland. JPI will focus its efforts on research and education around parole and pretrial justice reform in Baltimore City.
University of Baltimore Foundation
In support of general operations for the Human Trafficking Prevention Project (HTTP) at the University of Baltimore School of Law, which provides criminal record relief and civil legal assistance to survivors of human trafficking.
Charm City Care Connection
In support of continued operations of the Harm Reduction Drop-in Center (HRDC), which provides a safe space for people with substance use disorder to access needed services and support. The HRDC provides low-barrier and easy-to-access services, including syringe exchange, fentanyl test strip distribution, naloxone distribution, community meals, and case management.
Community Mediation Program Inc. d/b/a Baltimore Community Mediation Center
In support of general operations for the Baltimore Community Mediation Center (BCMC). Since 1995, BCMC has provided mediation services and conflict resolution training at no cost to participants throughout Baltimore City.
