Our Review Process
The Foundation accepts investment requests on a rolling basis from for-profit companies operating in or willing to relocate to Baltimore City.
For all investment requests, the first step is to complete the short Company Introduction below and submit with your pitchdeck or executive summary.
The Company Introduction provides us with basic information about you, your innovation and your investment request. It also captures your request in our investment tracking system. We strongly recommend that you complete this application—it is not onerous. We will send you an automated confirmation email to let you know that we have received your materials.

Once the proposal has been received, a member of our finance team may contact you with questions about your request and/or schedule a pitch meeting.
The Foundation regrets that it is not able to support all quality companies and worthy proposals. Following review of the investment request and throughout the evaluation process companies will be notified of the decision made by the Foundation and Board of Trustees in a timely manner.
The Foundation typically does not accept repeat funding requests from declined companies within one calendar year. However, we welcome periodic updates of your progress and may consider future investment in companies that demonstrate resiliency and continued progress.
