As Executive Secretary to the President, Esthel provides administrative support to the President and Board of Trustees of the Abell Foundation. She manages the flow of information in and out of the President’s office, maintaining wide networks of communication and ensuring the timely and comprehensive distribution of materials across those networks.

In her spare time, Esthel provides food and medical assistance to a clowder of feral cats in her community. She enjoys hiking with her two dogs, reading, and traveling.  Esthel joined the Foundation in 1991.
